AI-native companies,
built block by block.

An ai-native company runs on foundations. We have built them — and they are ready to install.

An ai-native company is not one that has added AI. It is one whose operations run on shared foundations the model can read, act on and learn from — where intelligence is part of the machinery, not a tool bolted to the side. Building those foundations is engineering work. So we did the engineering.

Biomorphic Enterprise is the framework somai installs to make a company ai-native — one spine, one continuously-learning brain, run inside your own cloud and handed to your team.

Banking is where we proved it. The architecture is not bank-specific.

§ 01 The framework

One spine. One brain. Every signal a business produces, unified.

Most companies adopt AI one problem at a time. Each use case gets its own model and its own copy of the data; none of them can see what the others see. The cost multiplies, and no single system ever holds the whole picture.

Biomorphic Enterprise inverts that. Every signal the business produces — real-time transactions, entity and state changes, external feeds and news, documents — lands on one event spine, the company's nervous system: ordered, durable, replayable. One continuously-learning Company Brain reads that spine and serves every domain from the same memory. New capability is added by connecting to the spine, not by standing up another silo.

What's inside

01Company Brain
Cognition and memory: one continuously-learning model that reads the whole nervous system and holds the shared, temporal picture every domain draws on.
02Receptors
Perception: adapters that turn any source — rules-based or model-scored — into one canonical event. A new source is a new receptor, never a new pipeline.
03Nervous System
The event spine: every signal on one ordered, durable, replayable stream the whole framework reads from.
04Muscles
Execution: the actors where decisions are taken, in learning mode or execution mode on one interface.
05Immune System
Regulation: accuracy gates that let a capability act only once it has cleared a bar on your data — and revoke that authority the same way.

§ 02 What it does

The same framework, pointed at one sector at a time.

Proven Built and validated against real banking data.

Financial crime · transactions, entities

Surfaces a money-mule network no single rule could catch.

Catches three accounts opened the same week, value returning as 'sponsorship' within 48–72 hours — invisible one transaction at a time.

How graph and community detection over the transaction population, plus a sequence model separating the drivers that set the scene from those that trigger — with full attribution to compliance.

surfaced in ~72h · investigator-ready

Fraud · auth, device, payee, transfer

Catches an account takeover mid-sequence, not after the money's gone.

Catches password reset, new device, new payee, large transfer — one rising arc, not four unrelated events.

How probability accumulates across the sequence; over the bar it fires step-up auth before the transfer clears, with per-step attribution.

mid-sequence · per-step attribution

Customer · spend, direct debits, overdraft

Sees customer financial stress weeks before the first missed payment.

Catches grocery spend up, discretionary down, the overdraft creeping, a direct debit bounced — stress forming ahead of any default.

How the brain reads the shift in a customer's own baseline and opens proactive support — cheaper than collections, Consumer Duty met.

~45 days early · support, not collections

Operations · exceptions, nostro, corridors

Predicts the exception and the liquidity position before a human looks.

Catches an exception's failure type and resolution path before review, and the nostro position per corridor hours ahead.

How the same brain forecasting on the spine — less handling time per exception, less intraday credit held, straight to P&L.

40+ min per exception · hours ahead

§ 03 The protocol

Two interfaces. Any team, any language, any domain.

Everything connects to the spine through one protocol — two interfaces, universally adoptable, owned by your teams.

Receptor

Any source, one canonical shape

A receptor converts any external signal into one schema-invariant event. A rules-based receptor speaks with full confidence; a model-scored receptor attaches a confidence the brain can weigh. Either way, what lands on the spine is one canonical shape — so a new source is a new receptor, never a new pipeline.

Actor

Two modes, one interface

An actor has two modes on a single interface, promoted by config, not code. In learning mode the actor is authoritative — it does the work, the brain observes, and accuracy accumulates against real outcomes. In execution mode the brain drives and the actor interprets. The flip is a configuration change, made when the evidence supports it — not a re-engineering project.

§ 04 The journey

Deploy, connect, learn, expand — then we leave.

01

Deploy

week 1

Infrastructure stands up inside your cloud. The spine is running, the topics are live. Nothing of yours has left your perimeter.

Output: a live spine in your own cloud.

02

Connect

weeks 2–3

The first receptor and the first actor go in. Events flow onto the spine; the feedback loop closes. The framework starts seeing your real operation.

Output: events flowing, the loop closed.

03

Learn

weeks 4–8

The brain observes while your actors stay authoritative. Accuracy is scored over a window against real outcomes. When it clears a bar set with you, that capability is cleared to act.

Output: a capability that has earned the right to act.

04

Expand

month 3+

Cleared capabilities move to execution mode. The second and third domains connect to the same spine — each cheaper than the last, because the architecture is already there. Then somai exits.

Output: a framework your team runs without us.

The binary

The framework does not begin with authority. It earns it — capability by capability, against your own data, on a bar you set with us. Nothing acts until the evidence says it can.

§ 05 Cross-domain advantage

Cross-domain advantage

Run AI in silos and every model is half-blind. The fraud model sees fraud signals. The credit model sees credit signals. Neither sees the customer.

Put every signal on one spine and one brain, and coincidence becomes pattern. The same customer can be quietly throwing six weak signals at once — an AML alert, financial stress, a shift in contact intent, a life event, a credit move, failed payments — none of them loud enough on its own to act on. Six teams each see one. The framework sees all six, and reads them as what they are: a systemic risk, not a run of bad luck.

This is the difference between adding AI to a company and building the company on it.

§ 06 Runs and proves itself

It runs inside your cloud, and every decision can be undone.

Runs in your cloud

The whole framework installs inside your own perimeter. No data leaves it — not to us, not to a third party. There is no model to call out to.

Accuracy-gated

Nothing acts until it has been measurably accurate against your real data, over a window, on a bar you set. Capabilities are promoted on evidence, one at a time.

Auditable

Every output carries its attribution — the signals that drove it, in an order an investigator can read and a regulator can examine. Case narratives, not bare scores.

Reversible

Authority can be withdrawn as cleanly as it was granted. A capability moves back from execution to learning mode by configuration — no re-engineering, no being stuck.

§ 07 Built to be handed over

You own the framework when we leave. Write to hello@somai.studio about installing it.

somai installs Biomorphic Enterprise, connects the first domains, and stays until the system runs itself — then leaves. You own the framework, the data and the model outright. No licence, no lock-in, no ongoing seat. That is the line between a consultancy and somai: not a recommendation, but a working framework, proven in banking, ready to install wherever intelligence has to be part of the machine.

What it is One spine, one continuously-learning brain, one universal protocol — installed inside your own cloud.
Where it's proven Built and validated against real banking data. The architecture is cross-domain; banking is the proof, not the limit.
What you're left with The framework, the data and the model, owned outright by your team. We exit.
